The Council of State Archivists (CoSA) reported that the House Oversight Committee is expected to consider House Bill 2978, the NHPRC reauthorization bill, this week, maybe as early as tomorrow.  Representative Jim Jordan of Ohio's 4th Congressional District is the Ranking member of the committee and has raised concerns about the $15 million proposed for the NHPRC.

Could you please contact Representative Jordan's Office (202-225-2676) and share the importance of the NHPRC?  Attached are talking points from CoSA on the need for the $15 million.
