Carol Brey-Casiano to Speak at Ohio Wesleyan on May 24th

The Academic Library Association of Ohio's Support Staff Interest Group 
(ALAO-SSIG) is pleased to announce that Carol Brey-Casiano, President-Elect 
of the American Library Association and Director of the El Paso (TX) Public 
Library, will speak at our spring workshop.

The workshop, entitled "ALA ... Support Staff ... the Here & the Now," will 
be held at Ohio Wesleyan University in Delaware, OH, on Monday, May 24th, 
2004.  Ms. Brey-Casiano will address ALA and its relation to support staff 
members, support staff issues and initiatives in general, the issue of pay 
equity for support staff and librarians, and her agenda as ALA president 
over the course of her keynote address and a question and answer
