Grant Writing Workshop for Preservation & Digitization Projects Workshop

When: April 13, 2005 (9:30-3:30)

Where: Wright State University Archives

 

The deadline for registration for the grant-writing workshop presented by Tom Clareson of OCLC is quickly approaching. This one-day workshop focuses on preparing for and writing grants for digitization and/or preservation projects. Due to sponsorship from the Ohio Historical Records Advisory Board (OHRAB), this workshop is being offered at a reduced cost to all participants.

 

The workshop includes matching your institution's project with the appropriate funding agency and preparing to write a proposal. The majority of the day is spent covering the elements of a grant proposal and practicing writing those elements. Depending on the participants' needs, this workshop can be customized to focus on preservation, digitization, or both; and to focus on a particular granting entity. 
Learn how to properly choose and prepare a grant proposal including: evaluating appropriate funding sources, project preparation; hands-on practice in preparing a proposal.
