Speaker: 
Susan Golden brings 21 years of experience in fundraising, with a
specialization in grantseeking. Dr. Golden's clients enjoy an 80 percent
success rate, compared to 3- 5 percent for all grantseeking efforts
nationally. Susan has worked with over 140 nonprofit organizations, and
is the author of Secrets of Successful Grantsmanship, 1997, and she has
written a column on grantseeking in Contributions Magazine. She has
helped four public library systems increase their fundraising capacity,
and has made workshop presentations to four regional library system
groups. 

 

Program Description:
This workshop will help participants develop or hone their ability to
compete successfully for grants. Participants will gain a better
understanding of how to: 

*	Assess the probability of successful competition, 
*	Review published information strategically, 
*	Improve your library's readiness to prepare applications, 
*	Prepare winning applications, and 
*	Build relationships which translate into successful grantseeking


Meals: Choice of Vegetarian or Non-vegetarian 

 

Audience: Anyone intersted in learning abut grants
