[OPLINLIST] Linking to Learning Express Career Accelerator

Last week the State Library announced the availability 
of Learning Express Job & Career Accelerator 
(http://oh.webjunction.org/ohjac/). Since then, some 
libraries have contacted OPLIN with questions about 
linking from their website to the Career Accelerator.

If you link directly from your website to the Learning 
Express server without working with Learning Express 
beforehand to setup referring URL or bar code 
authentication, then patrons trying to access the 
Accelerator from home will be unable to create a 
Learning Express account. Note that if you have worked 
with the Learning Express company in the past to set up 
authentication information for your library, you should 
not have this problem.

Unless you have worked with Learning Express or you run 
your own proxy or RPA system for authenticating remote 
users, the link you will want to use for Career 
Accelerator is:

The above link can be used anywhere and will work for 
patrons both inside and outside the library without the 
need for your Learning Express account to be configured.
