[OPLINLIST] Therapy dog reading programs...

Hello everyone!
 
We are wanting to start a therapy dog reading program after the first of the year, and I would like your wisdom on this if you do a similar program.
 
Do you take sign-ups prior.....for example, for 10-15 minute increments?  Do you have to have a liability waiver signed or is the owner of the dog responsible for this?
 
I am thinking of contacting the reading teachers for all of the city/county schools in our area to solicit kiddos to come.  
 
Again, I would appreciate all wisdom on this!
