Adult Services Manager

Salary: $19.50-$21.00/hour

Tiffin-Seneca Public Library is looking for a dynamic and creative full-time
librarian to manage the Adult Services Department.  This position requires
the ability to guide and inspire the day-to-day direction of the reference
staff. Responsibilities may include providing in-person and virtual
reference assistance, teaching public classes, conducting book talks,
coordinating our readers’ advisory services, and growing reference-related
connections within the local community. It is hoped candidates will embrace
technology, seek innovative ways of finding solutions, welcome change, and
balance traditional with new approaches. 

An MLIS from an ALA accredited school is required.  At least 2-3 years of
experience in a public library Adult Services / reference department is
preferred. Some weekend and evening hours will be required. 



Tiffin, a community with 18,000 residents, is home to two universities and
features a revitalizing main street and downtown.  A one-hour drive from
Toledo and one-and-a-half hour drive from Cleveland, it is within easy
access of major city attractions.
