[OPLINLIST] IHA Health Literacy Award nominations open

Good morning,

Each year, the Institute for Healthcare Advancement (IHA) honors people that have made outstanding achievements in health literacy by presenting them with an IHA Health Literacy Award. This award includes a $500 honorarium and complimentary registration, airfare, and hotel for the IHA's 18th Annual Health Literacy Conference, to be held ​May 1-3, 2019 in Costa Mesa, California.

Awardees in recent years have included two public libraries: Moore Public Library in Oklahoma for its Health Literacy Program (2018) and Richmond Public Library in California for its Digital Health Literacy Project (2016).

Is your library empowering people to better health through library programming or original printed or digital materials? Consider nominating your library, and/or nominating a colleague doing amazing work in this area.
