[OPLINTECH] Public Web Browser (PWB)

We used PWB through version 2.10.8 and looking at the stuff I didn't see how we
actually ran it.
Version 3 may be different.

A manual install just copies files to a folder so there wasn't automatically a
registry change.
But that would be one way auto start it.
You could use regedit on a working PC and search for PWB or possibly Teamsoftware
Or look at the properties in the desktop icon for the name of the ini file, and
search for that

Check the root of C: for an Autoexec.bat and see if it's there.

Look in All Programs / Startup and see if it's there

The actual command may be something as simple as just PWB
Or more elaborate such as:
l:\apps\pwb\pwb2.09 /INI=l:\apps\pwb\PWB9test.INI
This ran from a Novell network server.

Since there are so many PC's acting up it might be running from a network.

Command info will be in a file named like PWBv2.rtf in the PWB directory

Hope this helps.

Bob
