[OPLINTECH] DeepFreeze not deleting temp files?

Hi Lynne,
It's not supposed to work that way, it supposed to bring back machines to the same state you freeze it at without any files, unless you specify a thawed space on your hard drive.
I would defiantly check the configuration and the seed you used for installation along with the maintenance cycle..etc
We use Deep freeze along with CASSIE as well and it doesn't behalf that way.
Thanks

Subject: [OPLINTECH] DeepFreeze not deleting temp files?
Hello colleagues,
We installed Faronics DeepFreeze a couple of years ago on our public computers, with the idea that people could then install any software they needed and it would be wiped at the next reboot. We also expected it to wipe out temp files, in conjunction with the CASSIE software we use for patron printing and time management.
We are finding that this is not the case. Temp files just grow and grow and aren't deleted unless we thaw the machine and manually run a cleanup program. We only have 6 public computers, but running the process once a month or so has turned into a huge time sink.
Have any of you noticed this issue? Is it perhaps a case of improper configuration, or did we misunderstand the purpose and scope of DeepFreeze? We are running it on Windows 7 stations.
Any suggestions welcome; we have a new IT consultant and it would be good to have some idea of which way to point him, since he didn't configure our system.
Thanks,
