[OPLINTECH] Viewing Unemployment Correspondence problem

Try using these browser setting changes.  We haven’t had any issues the past couple months after making the changes:

Chrome

  *   Settings>Privacy & Security>Site Options>Additional Content Settings>PDF docs. Turn on ‘Download PDF files instead of automatically opening them in Chrome’
Firefox

  *   Options>Applications>PDF. Change ‘Preview in Firefox’ to ‘use Adobe Acrobat Reader DC’
Edge

  *   Open Settings, search ‘PDF’, select ‘PDF Documents”, and turn on ‘Always Download PDF Files’

This force opens in Abobe instead of the browser.

We're using Adobe Reader DC v2019.021.20061 and it works, as long as they save and open in Adobe. If they open in a browser -- any browser -- it doesn't work.

Yesterday, when the patron chose the ODJS correspondence to view, the message downloaded as a pdf. I had them open the pdf using Adobe Reader DC, version 2020.006.20042. After opening the pdf in Adobe Reader DC, we received a message stating we need to install a font package and to click "Go" to navigate to the download. Clicking on "Go" took us nowhere and the pdf is blank.

This morning, I updated Adobe Reader DC to the latest version but don't know of a way to test it.

Has anyone had this problem and found a successful work around?
