Cross-posted. Please excuse duplication.

As you're transitioning to fall programming, keep in mind that Choose to Read Ohio<https://library.ohio.gov/ctro/> (CTRO) offers free readers' toolkits with activities and discussion questions for every book on the CTRO booklists (155 books so far!). They are fantastic for book-based programming and book discussion groups. The toolkits can also be printed and inserted into library copies of CTRO books: when your patrons check out a CTRO book, they will also get an author bio, discussion questions and extension projects, and links for exploring themes and topics of the book.

CTRO spotlights Ohio authors and illustrators and promotes reading across Ohio. CTRO is a collaboration among the State Library of Ohio, the Ohioana Library, and the Ohio Center for the Book, and is guided by an Advisory Council<https://library.ohio.gov/services-for-libraries/library-programs-development/ctro/choose-to-read-ohio-credits/> of librarians, educators, and other advocates for reading and readers. From 2009 through 2023, a booklist of 20 representative titles for all ages has been selected every 2 years, with the input of dozens of Ohio librarians, educators, and others invested in readers and reading. The CTRO Advisory Council is pleased to share that beginning in 2025, CTRO will shift from a biennial to an annual booklist. We are excited for the opportunity to spotlight twice as many Ohio authors and books in the future!
