The Network of National Library of Medicine<https://www.nnlm.gov/> (NNLM) Region 6 supports the mission of NNLM to provide U.S. researchers, health professionals, public health workforce, educators, and the public with equal access to biomedical and health information resources and data. Training and access to guides and resources are vital to achieving their mission.

The NNLM Region 6 Speaker Series<https://www.nnlm.gov/training/class-catalog/nnlm-region-6-speaker-spotlight-webinars> is an intermittent webinar series hosted by NNLM Region 6. It showcases guest speakers who address various topics relevant to our members, including librarians, public health practitioners, educators, clinicians, and other healthcare information professionals. Our selection of topics is influenced by audience preferences and requests, trends, seasonal relevance, and speaker availability, ensuring a dynamic and engaging experience for all participants.

The State Library of Ohio is an institutional member of the NNLM Region 6<https://www.nnlm.gov/about/regions/region6> and our Research and Catalog services Librarians Josh Jones, Stephanie Michaels, and Phil Willke hold the Consumer Health Information Specialist certification from the Medical Library Association which works closely with the Network of the National Library of Medicine. These Reference Librarians can help provide trustworthy consumer health information to the public and library staff.
