[SEO-Members] "NEW" label residue?

Good morning!

In addition to Scotch discontinuing the removeable tape we used, we were also experiencing issues with this labels. Several libraries recommended this "new" tape also from Demco. It's a little early for us to tell if it will leave behind residue, but it seems to be similar to painters' tape.

Hello all!

I was wondering...how do you mark "new" books in your collection? We've been using the Demco "new" labels (below) with a label saver over the top, but the residue it leaves behind is awful. We think maybe the warm temperatures are contributing to our difficulty in getting the labels and label savers off 🙁

I'm trying to brainstorm other options, so if your library has a system that seems to work well, I'd love to hear about it! I know some libraries put the pub date in their call number...
